Grega Vauhnik
Grega first met God in his local Catholic church; this parish, and the Catholic highschool Grega attended, provided a safe place for his faith in Christ to grow without judgment from his peers; this was a huge blessing from God.
Grega attended a Josiah Venture performing arts choir in 2011 and soon after went to various JV camps. Those ministries were connected to a local evangelical church and started his journey with Josiah Venture. Through church and the relationships he developed at camp, Grega grew in his faith and relationship with God. He saw the impact youth ministry can have on the lives of young people and started volunteering in 2014.
Grega became more and more involved in youth work, and he soon realized that God was calling him into full-time ministry. After finishing law school, passing the bar exam, and working in the courts, he joined Josiah Venture full-time in 2024.
Grega lives in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. He serves as a deacon and helps lead Fusion and other youth ministries in his church. Grega wants to provide young people with a safe environment where they can ask questions and meet God, just like the one he was in growing up.
