Heidi Ansiel
In 2011, Heidi traveled to Albania with a short-term English Camp team. There, the Lord captured her heart for his movement among the youth of Central and Eastern Europe. She continued serving in youth ministry in various capacities at Grace Church of Dupage and with several short-term teams to Albania and Slovenia in the years following. The Lord continued to develop her gifts and heart for discipleship through her studies in Digital Media and Bible at Cedarville University and as a member of the NCAA Division 2 Women's Basketball Team. She completed a Media internship in Slovenia in 2018 and moved there full-time in 2019.
Heidi is a highly relational, creative, resilient, and versatile team player and leader. She is motivated by responding to and receiving God's love for her in Christ. Heidi is passionate about seeing God's love heal and transform hearts, families, churches, and society. In Slovenia, she makes disciples, serves in her local church, and supports the movement to equip the next generation. She reaches young people through web design and social media to invite them to camps and to discover the God of the Bible. Heidi enjoys learning new sports, longboarding, eating tacos, and laughing with friends.
