Daniel & Denisa Harčar

Daniel and Denisa met at a youth group camp with the Lutheran Church in Prešov, Slovakia. Daniel accepted Christ as his Savior when he was 16. After a year, he started to serve in his local church in Prešov as a member of the youth group team, and he later became a leader of both the high school youth group and the English camp outreach ministry called KECY. In 2013, he passed the leadership role of the local youth group to the next generation.
Denisa began leading her first small group in Obišovce, Slovakia four years after giving her life to Jesus. In this village, at the age of 18, she helped start a youth ministry program with her church. A few years later, she began attending a leadership training program offered by TCKompas (Josiah Venture’s partner organization in Slovakia).
The couple was married in the fall of 2012. ogether, they have a heart for making disciples who make disciples. They were both excited to be able to live out this passion by joining TCKompas, where Daniel serves as the KECY (English camp) Slovak coordinator and Denisa helps develop a new platform for online training in Slovakia. Daniel, Denisa, and their daughter Luna currently live and serve in Drienovská Nová Ves, Slovakia.
