Karolina Szafran
Karolina was born in Zelów, in central Poland. The way her family engaged with faith was more about rituals. A relationship with God was an unknown concept. Wanting to escape a difficult situation at home, she got involved with bad company, looking for fun and acceptance.
She heard the gospel for the first time in 2012 and started attending church and youth meetings. Soon after, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and began serving in her local church in the youth group, worship team, and several smaller activities.
In November 2022, she volunteered at Escape, an event organized by the 29:11 Project. Escape helps young people find hope and healing for their emotional wounds. This experience led her to join the team as an employee.
Karolina's role in the 29:11 Project focuses on administration and logistics, but her heart is devoted to the spiritual growth of the younger generation. She aspires to be a disciple of Christ who makes disciples and equips them to carry this mission to future generations through local churches in Poland.
