Klemen Furlan
By the work of the Holy Spirit through Josiah Venture (JV) missionaries, Klemen gave his life to Christ at the age of 16. For those who have ever supported anyone in Slovenia Klemen’s faith is the fruit that came from that support, along with many others! It was then that his heart was immediately captured for the youth of his country. He worked as a volunteer with JV until he graduated from college and later found himself struck with the difference between his and the next generation during his employment as a teacher. He shared the gospel with his students during P.E. classes, and, just after a year, God called him into full-time mission. Klemen will be pioneering new possibilities in evangelization ministry with JV as he is trying to reach the lost. Some possibilities are through schools and their teachers or through places where the youth spend their time in the capital city of Ljubljana. His heart is set on Slovenia and the unity of its church. For those reasons, he also took on a role as a deacon, overseeing youth work and occasional preaching in his local church.
