Paul’s first experience with Josiah Venture was in 1998 when he and his wife Val brought a short-term team to serve at an English camp in the Czech Republic. It marked the beginning of a deep connection with JV and a burden for the young people of Central and Eastern Europe. They led multiple trips to the Czech Republic and have been privileged to witness the disciple-making fruit in both the lives of Czech students and the young people who served on those short-term teams.
Paul has 30 years of experience in full-time youth ministry in the local church. He is passionate about disciple-making youth ministry and is committed to training and equipping the next generation of youth leaders. To that end, he has been seeking God’s guidance for the next phase of leadership and ministry, and, in October 202, he stepped into the role of Director of Josiah Venture UK. Paul is excited to encourage and equip leaders for ministry in the UK and across Europe, and to mobilize prayer, people, and resources for ministry in Central and Eastern Europe.
Paul and Val live with their three children (Erin, Talitha, and Selah) in Saintfield, Northern Ireland.
