Lucie & Filip Mészáros
Lucie comes from a family of nonbelievers from a small town in the Czech Republic. She started to seek God through a missionary ministry in her town, and, as a result, she believes that the key to sharing the gospel is a people-oriented ministry.
Lucie moved to Brno to study at the university where she earned her bachelor's degree in Journalism and Sociology. During her studies there, she joined a non-profit organization where she was responsible for the development of its people. There, she discovered that she was passionate about her responsibilities and for education. She decided to do her master‘s degree in people management and organizational development.
She felt God’s calling when she was invited to join Josiah Venture (JV) in the Czech Republic (known as KAM locally) to be the person in charge of their staff development. Lucie truly desires to help people to uncover their full potential from God. Apart from serving in JV, she also serves in the church CityHouse Brno where she co-leads a small group with her husband Filip. He has a day job in an IT company, but he loves to help & support people, and, therefore, he serves within his church.
Lucie believes that the right training and equipping of missionaries can help to fulfil Christ’s Commission.
